Woodbridge, VA – September 6 – First Home Alliance is excited to announce the date for this year’s Annual Symposium and Awards Gala. This year’s Gala will take place on November 19, 2022, at the Embassy Suites of Springfield, 8100 Loisdale Road, Springfield, Virginia 22150. Please plan to join us as we celebrate, honor, and gather to raise awareness and funds to increase housing opportunities for low-to-moderate income and military veteran families.
The event will begin that morning with the Financial Wellness Symposium, occurring from 9:00am to 4:00pm, featuring Paul W. Mitchell American Legion Post 114 Charter Luncheon with a keynote speaker. At 6:00pm that same evening a VIP Networking Reception will be held, and the event’s Silent Auction will commence. The evening’s Awards Gala will begin at 7:30pm and will have a Christmas theme with “A Season of Giving.” This portion of the event will have a plated dinner and live music entertainment.
This annual fundraiser increases the level of critical funds available to support our community outreach efforts, which include classes on first home ownership and foreclosure mitigation and intervention. First Home Alliance is a community based, HUD-approved housing-counseling agency, which has assisted more than 16,000 households since its inception in 2002.
