2002
The Foundation
First Home Alliance was founded and incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia by Larry J. Laws, Sr., MBA.
2003
Tax Exempt
First Home Alliance was awarded its 501c 3, tax-exempt status.
2004
Providing Services
In January 2004, First Home Alliance began providing housing counseling and education services in Northern Virginia and surrounding area.
Focus on Education
On June 1, 2004, FHA began conducting Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) Introduction to Homeownership classes in Northern Virginia.
2005
Partnership with Bank of America
On December 1, 2005, FHA partnered with Bank of America Home Loans as a Homebuyer Education Provider.
2006
Our Office
FHA opened its office in Woodbridge, Virginia.
2010
HUD Approved
On June 9, 2010, FHA became a HUD-approved housing counseling agency.
