Woodbridge, VA – February 3, 2023 – First Home Alliance President and Founder, Larry Laws was glad to interview business associate and friend Tiponya “Tippi” Gibson for her second visit to Rock Your Block. Ms. Gibson is a multi-talented entrepreneur and multi-faceted small business owner, doing incredible work in her community. In addition, she has partnered with FHA for over two years as their Yoga instructor, adding physical fitness and mental health awareness to the financial education FHA shares with our communities.
The timing of this interview was the perfect focus to honor February being Self-love/Self-care Appreciation Month. Ms. Gibson spoke with Mr. Laws sharing tips on staying positive and practicing self-care. During the interview, she also provided tips to the audience on how they can practice self-love as well as advice to those planning to start practicing yoga in 2023. For example, Ms. Gibson stated that props aren’t really necessary for yoga, but she mentions her recommendations are available on her Instagram. The two also discussed some tips for how to focus during meditation, and not let your mind wander.
Mr. Laws ended the interview discussing Ms. Gibson’s role as a Regional Sales Manager with European Wax Center. They then discussed how she improved sales by doubling them and shared some of her marketing secrets. You can watch the full interview here:
