First Home Alliance friends, family, and community partners, we are honored every year to come together and celebrate our communities as we raise awareness and funds to increase housing opportunities for low-to-moderate income and military veteran families.
Our Financial Wellness Symposium is a community benefit which consists of a full day of collaboration, education, and empowerment designed to raise awareness, improve financial health, and physical and mental well-being. The event empowers participants through motivational speakers and industry experts.
Registration to the Symposium is open to the public and registration to this important event and critical information is only $35. Alternately, you could instead make a donation to FHA for $35 and get a FREE registration to the event. Donations help defer cost and provide attendees a continental breakfast and lunch with an inspirational keynote speaker. Those registered are also be eligible for a variety of household giveaways at the end of the Symposium!
The day’s workshop sessions often cover a variety of topics including money management, credit and credit reporting, home inspections, the role of a real estate agent, and dispelling VA loan myths. Attendees can even start their day off with some movement and stretching during an invigorating yoga session.
