In this course we will cover the basic formulas for assessing an individual’s readiness to buy. The student will learn how a housing counselor recommends homeownership readiness based on sound financial principles such as:

• debt-to-income ratio
• credit history

This course will also cover executing cost analysis of renting vs. buying.
