Charlene Watkins-Byrd is the First Home Alliance Senior Housing Advisor and HUD Certified Housing Counselor.  She is a native of Northern Virginia and has worked in the non-profit arena for over 14 years. Charlene entered the housing industry in 2004 as a loan processor and genuinely fell in love with the fact that she was able to play a role in the home buying process. She has a strong passion for helping individuals and families in the community to achieve their goal of homeownership and becoming financially educated in a manner in which knowledge can be passed on for generations to come. Charlene is a wife and a mother of four amazing sons and hopes to continue to make an impact in the community for many years to come.
